Turin, Italy – “A3 PROJECT”

Giorgio Deiana Foundation is pleased to contribute to the implementation of the “A3 – Reception, Accompaniment, Autonomy” project promoted by the “Missionary House of the Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice” in Turin, Italy.

The A3 project is an experience of supportive and educational cohabitation; it is a home-environment designed for young women; it is a collective journey towards autonomy, through Welcoming and Accompaniment.
The A3 project is aimed at your women aged between 18 and 21 years old, who have completed a community path of foster care and need to become autonomous, or at the moment cannot count on family support.  The young women will be accompanied to take care of 7 areas of their life:
– personal history
– training / work project
– relationships
– time management
– management of economic resources
– care of psychophysical well-being
– care of personal and common environments.

The project is managed by a team of religious sisters of the Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice, together with lay professionals, in the style of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello.
The A3 co-houding apartment was inaugurated in Turin in March 2022, with the first six young female guests, recipients of the project’s support.
Giorgio Deiana has for years been committed to giving a chance, a hope to the weakest and most needy people. He believed in their ability, quality and tenacity. The Giorgio Deiana Foundation enthusiastically supports the activities of the A3 project, continuing in the spirit of service of its inspirer.
