The Giorgio Deiana Foundation gave support during the COVID-19 emergency in Europe with two donations of protective devices (masks).
In Alessandria, Italy, the hospital SS. Antonio e Biagio & Cesare Arrigo received the first donation: 20,000 masks were delivered during the Covid-19 pandemic emergency, to relieve pressure on hospital supplies and support the safety of all operators in the facility.
The hospital represents an important clinical and research reference point for the Piedmont region and for the whole of the north-west of Italy: the province of Alessandria was among the most affected during the pandemic and the Giorgio Deiana Foundation wanted to contribute to supporting local healthcare, in the hometown of the Ferrari Group.
The La Belle Aventure nursery school in Chiez-Le-Bart (near Neuchatel, CH) received the second donation of 1000 masks, to allow safe educational continuity upon reopening after the first lockdown in Switzerland.
